This week I’d like to give a huge shout-out to Gene Lempp. Gene is one of my ROW80 buddies and every week, he faithfully puts out a post titled “Writing Blog Treasures,” where he lists blog posts that are useful for the rest of us. Often he posts links to ROW80 members’ posts.
Gene has been kind enough to post my work several times, which I greatly appreciate. However, I also know how time consuming it is to collect links and put those posts together. So Gene, thank you. You’re doing a great job and I sincerely appreciate it.

You have such excellent content here on your site that it would be a travesty not to pass it on. I have a good idea in mind on how to pass this on, following the rules, of course. I hope your area recovers soon from the cyclone, there have been far too many natural catastrophes this year – my heart and hopes go out to all of you. Peace.

My apologies for being slow to moderate comments. We have just been through a cyclone and our city is still partly flooded. It’s been chaos here for the last five days and we’re still cleaning up and trying to get back to normal. We are hoping that normal arrives back as soon as possible.
If you are able, please donate to the Red Cross Flood Appeal. http://www.redcross.org.au/qld-floods-2013.aspx Many people had everything they own destroyed two year ago and have only just gotten back on their feet… to be wiped out again. Any help you can give will be gratefully received, and the Red Cross is a reliable organisation.
